A great 30's style swign singer Banu Gibson is virtually the only female singer today who is singing autenticly like a 1920's/30's vocalist. she sounds a bit like Connee Boswell, she's in New Orleans and all of her cd's come highly recomended especially "Love Is Good For Anything That Ails You"!

1920's-30's early swing music You owe it to yourself to go see Mora's Modern Rhythmists especially if your local in LA, they play 1920's hot jazz and 30's syncopated music like nobody's business!
